Blushing Boutique & the BCIT Online Venture program
We are proud to be involved in helping create and currently filming for the new BCIT Online Venture Program launching mid next year. Today took us to the fab Blushing Boutique store where owner/designer Shelley Klassen shared her story about starting up 12 years ago in her apartment with her husband to a successful downtown design studio & dress shop.
Bob Murray of GrowthPoint presented us with some great tips on what makes this business successful. Look for him as a star in the upcoming BCIT Online Venture program

Today’s story in the Vancouver Sun highlighted a brilliant idea on how two local Vancouver entrepreneurs adapted to the recession when their customers ordered less. Secret Garden Tea Company’s Kathy Wyder and Erin Wyder were innovative in meeting their customers needs and therefore retaining their business. Check out the video here.
